About Baseline

If you arrived from elsewhere and are wondering what this is: Baseline is a plugin for Eleventy, a static site generator. It bundles the pieces a small business site usually needs (head metadata, multilingual handling, an internal content graph, a sitemap module) into one foundation, so you do not glue twelve plugins together.

This site is a working Baseline build. What you see here is what the plugin ships today.

Who maintains it

I'm Cristovao Verstraeten. I have been working on Baseline since the beginning of 2026, growing it from earlier work around assets, sitemaps, and multilingual handling. It is the foundation I use for my own work, which is why I build it in public.
