Projects are for scoped work: a new site, a rebuild, or a specific improvement you want handled properly and finished cleanly.
I keep project work calm and predictable. Clear scope, clear communication, and a simple handover at the end.
When a project makes sense
A project fits when:
- you need a new website (or a rebuild)
- your current site needs a clear improvement, not ongoing support
- you want a defined scope, a clear end, and a clean handover
If you mainly need ongoing help keeping things up to date, the support plan is often a better match.
What I build
Most projects fall into a few clear categories:
- small, fast static websites
- rebuilds that simplify and modernise an existing site
- practical improvements: structure, copy layout, performance, and the basics that keep things maintainable
The goal: a site that's simple, quick to load, and easy to look after.
Sometimes adjacent work too
Alongside websites I occasionally take on adjacent work: small automations, content migrations, or a specific question around the website environment. Mention it in a short note and I'll let you know if it fits.
How projects work
- You send a short note with what you're aiming for.
- We clarify scope and agree the next step.
- I build, and share progress as I go.
- You review, I adjust, and we close with a clean handover.
No big process. Just clear decisions, calm communication, and work that's finished properly.
What to expect
Projects stay scoped. If something new comes up, I'll call it out and we'll agree how to handle it before we continue.
At the end, you get a clean handover: access, documentation where it helps, and a site you can actually maintain.
After a project
If you'd like the site to stay looked after, we can continue with ongoing support: website maintenance and IT support together in one plan.
Often the easiest way to keep small things from piling up.
If not, that's fine too. The goal is a clean finish either way.
